We are glad to annnounce that we are awarded a grant of 360k CHF (~385k €) in the frame of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Consortium Water, from Horizon Europe and the Secrétariat d’Etat à la formation, à la recherche et à l’innovation SEFRI. This project will be done in close collaboration with the Laboratory for fundamental BioPhotonics at EPFL within the ITN / Innovative Training Network.
The grant, entitled Doctoral Network on Interfacial Water in Membrane Transport, in short WATER, will support the hiring and training of a PhD student for 48 months, to pursue cutting-edge research on the role of water in biological system.
With this new grant, ORYL now received over 4 millions of non-dilutive funding and grant since its inception from organisations in Vaud, Switzerland, and EU. This is a testimony to our commitment and to the strength of the innovation ecosystem in Switzerland and Europe at large.
